It is virtually impossible to reach a live person at AltaVista. Every extension
we dial off the voice-mail greeting landed us in voice-mail hell. Remarkably,
when you choose selection option #1, which claims to send you to "technical
support," you are transferred to a voice-mail message that instructs you
to use the "feedback" button from the AltaVista Web site if you are calling
about your Web site's listing. Unbelievable!
